Anne Basting is a MacArthur "Genius Grant" recipient and a leader in creative aging. A theater artist and scholar, she is best known for her work using storytelling and the arts to improve the lives of people with dementia. Basting is the author of Creative Care and founder of TimeSlips, an internationally recognized creative engagement project.
